Facilitating team transformation and breakthroughs

We provide facilitation to make your board meetings, workshops, conferences and team meetings run more effectively and productively, with the aim of changing things for a better future through better decision making, changed attitudes and behaviour and the removal of contradictions.

‘Facilitating’ has many different aspects to it, but essentially means ‘to make things easier’ to do. Our facilitators are trained in what is an art, and a form of ‘servant leadership’. In other words we lead on your behalf to get the results that you need, sustainably.

We often call this a breakthrough session – whether that be for personal breakthrough or a breakthrough for the group or team – where we enable personal change in a super-charged, intensive, outcome focused session or series of sessions.

For individual breakthroughs and performance, we provide executive, conflict or team coaching 

We plan, guide and manage a group event to ensure the group’s objectives are met effectively, with clear thinking, good participation and full buy-in from everyone who is involved.

We provide the following high impact facilitation services for the following situations:

  • Board meeting facilitation

  • Conference facilitation

We also facilitate a team transformation or ‘breakthrough’ interventions that change peoples’ attitudes, behaviours and contradictions enabling real, swift and sustainable change to much higher performance, and happier team, including:

  • breakthrough sessions usually over two days for a team of 5 to 50 people
  • team retreats usually over 3 days for 3 to 12 people

Most of our interventions are done on a one-off basis, since the change experienced is sustainable. We often build or ‘piggy back’  on a breakthrough session that has moved a team from a very negative to a peaceful place, enabling them to become high performance.

To facilitate effectively, we must be objective. We are an independent, neutral presence in the group.  We step back from the detailed content and from our own personal views, and focus on the group interactions and process.

Our role is to guide the group process to ensure that:

  • Everyone usefully participates and engages
  • Participants achieve a mutual understanding
  • Contributions are considered and included in the ideas, solutions or decisions that emerge
  • Participants take shared responsibility and commitment for the collective outcome
  • Outcomes, actions and questions are properly recorded, providing a clear way forward with clear accountability
